Healing Build (Modded Fi Boon)
Monk / Necromancer
A modded Fi Boon Healer, which I have used constantly in 4v4, GvG, and HoH. Yes, I have been called a noob on many, many occasions, and it has lost all affects on me. You wanna flame...have at it. If you wanna be a bit more mature and suggest a few revisions / suggestions, then you have earned my respect. I don't care for, rather, I despise an 'elitist' attitude, so don't waste your time posting if that is what your intention is.
Now please keep in mind, with this build I have been able to sustain a party with little problems, especially with a prot monk working along side me (what monk can't I suppose). I have been suggested to rid myself of Res Sig and Healing Breeze on many occasions as well, but I have found these skills (well, Healing Breeze anywho) in the right hands can be very effective. So, if you plan to argue about how much Healing Breeze 'sucks', please back that up with actual research that YOU have obtained. I am not impressed with people that simply say's something sucks because they have heard others say it.
Attributes :
Divine Favor - 10
Healing Prayers - 15 (11+3+1)
Smiting Prayers - 1 (This is for 'Smite Hex' when used)
Blood Magic - 10
Weapons / Armor :
Insightful PvP Holy Staff of Enchanting
(This is a Holy Staff with a +5 Energy and +20% Enchantment mod)
Servants Scalp (+1 Healing)
Judge's Set (Chest / Legs) (With a superior Vigor on Chest)
Ascetics Set (Arm / Foot)
Skill Set :
Infuse Health
Healing Touch
Dwayna's Kiss
Orison of Healing
Healing Breeze
Divine Spirit
Offering of Blood
Res Signet
Although in a 8v8 setting, Res Sig would be replaced with something else, like Smite Hex or whatever they party leader would like (as long as it doesn't require me to change the build in any other way). I have found though that the loss of Res Sig in 4v4 is taking to big of a chance. Sure, a good monk could keep the party healed without needing to res, but that is not always the case, even with the best monks I have seen. In an 8v8 seeting, you generally have atleast one other healer, and probably another monk acting as a protection monk, so a res is useless in this case, and really, a healer doesn't need to res because he can keep the party healed.

Hmm, I'm not the only one who modded the Fi Boon Template.
Your addition is off on your Healing Prayers. 12 + 3 + 1 = 16.
I would strongly suggest you replace Divine Spirit with Heal Other. If you have Blood at 10, Offering of Blood should be more than enough enery management.

I agree with Slade - heal other and then some sort of hex removal instead of the rez and its a decent healer. I started a new account and thats what I work with now!

I maintain that the '5 energy skill spammer' is the weakest healer archtype in the game, horribly inflexible with an unimpressive output. Might not be a bad way to cut your teeth, but eventually you'll learn that Orison is not the best solution to every problem.
That said, if you're going to run one of these guys this isn't a bad version. Divine Spirit is excellent here. With the skill list posted, shift into 12 Divine / 14 Healing / 10 Blood - you actually benefit more from Divine Favor than Healing with that build.
Peace,
-CxE

Hmm, I agree with that statement. I will experiment with the Divine Favor / Healing Prayers changes. Appreciate the input.

Got any "stronger" healer build suggestions then?
